DIY Cherry Blossoms tree

DIY Cherry Blossoms tree
Supplies:
-Tissue paper
-Scissors
-Hot glue gun
-Branches

Instructions:
1-Stack several pieces of tissue on top of each other and cut out a flower shape. It does not need to be perfect! Mine were about 2 1/2" across and had five petals, but it doesn't really matter that much. I wanted to do two colors, but you can just do one. And because I know a few of you are bound to notice. . . yes, my light pink paper has words on it. But it's all I had and I knew once it was all scrunched up they wouldn't show. Which they don't. Thank goodness.

2-For two-toned cherry blossoms, stack two flowers on top of each other with the petals not matched up.

3-Now just scrunch the flower petals up and twist the whole thing together at the bottom.

I thought it would be more realistic if there were variations in the blossoms, so I made some light pink, some dark pink, and some with the two colors together. To make smaller blossoms like the two on the left, just scrunch up one flower at a time.

4-Now it's time to glue them to your branches. I used branches that I pruned from our apple tree. If you don't have your own tree, check with your neighbors. You should be able to find some unwanted branches this time of year.
I think it looks best to apply the blossoms to the natural buds of the branch. Just add a tiny dab of hot glue, and press your blossom on.

Continue adding blossoms to all sides of your branches.

5-When you are all finished, just stick them in the container of your choice. I added some wheat at the bottom to hold them in place.

O1. PURCHASE
~To make a perfect Wreck This Journal, you are going to need to get one first! You can visit your local Target or Bookstore and see if they have it there!

O2. GET STARTED
~Well, I suggest that if you are going to keep it for a while, try to do a page a day or something like that so you are able to look forward to something each day! Don't do it page by page! Everyday, get the book and close your eyes and open it up to a page! If you want to save that page 'till a little later on, redo it!

O4. SUPPLIES
~Pencil Crayons
~Markers
~Magazines
~Pencils and pens
~Scissors
~Paint
~Paint Brush
~String
~Leaves, Sticks, Grass
~Meaningful Pictures
~Thread // Needle // Felt (Sew This Page)
~Colourful Tape

~Randon Doo Dads (Feathers, Buttons, Googly Eyes, Beads, Small Toys)
~Your Hair
~Dirt
~Smelly Flowers // Lavender // Perfume
~Lighter // Lit Candle
~Anything else you can think of!

O4. START
~This is where your CREATiVE side comes in! Don't colour in the lines! In other words, be crazy, the sky is the limit! Make sure that you have a WiDE variety of supplies to be used, like the ones listed above! When it says something like, 'Poke Holes in This Page', do something like poke the holes and add balloons, so it is like you popped the balloon! Add Doughnuts! Don't ever be finished with a page! Always add more things and think about what you are going to do before you start colouring!

How to care for your feet♥

How to care for your feet♥
requested by; @peepsco98

You may not think about your feet that often -- way down there at the ends of your legs -- but they're an essential part of almost everything you do. Whether walking, running, exercising, or just standing, having feet that are comfortable and well-cared for (rather than aching or in pain) makes the experience must more pleasant. Therefore, knowing how to care for your feet is key.

And, this isn't just about feeling good. When your feet don't get the attention they need, chronic problems can develop, which may trouble you for years to come. In many cases, there are some simple stretches and exercises that can help keep your feet in top form. This article will introduce you to these ideas, as well as provide you with valuable guidelines that will make you an expert shoe-shopper -- able to select supportive, comfortable shoes (in the correct size) every time.

However, there are some situations when caring for your feet on your own is not advised. When serious injury occurs or an emergency arises, you should visit a podiatrist -- or even the emergency room. People who have ongoing circulation problems or diabetes should also consult a doctor where any foot problems are concerned. Here's why:

Circulation problems are often associated with older feet, but the fact is that anyone can have such problems. When there's not enough blood flowing to your feet, you may experience tingling, numbness, cramping, and discoloration of the skin and toenails.

Everyday circumstances can restrict blood flow: when feet get cold outdoors or in cold water; when shoes, stockings, or undergarments are too tight; even when you've sat too long with your legs crossed. Smoking reduces circulation to all parts of the body, as does drinking too much coffee or caffeinated soda (both nicotine and caffeine constrict blood vessels). And if you are under severe stress, your nerves can constrict your small blood vessels, lessening their ability to carry blood. Some nervous brides and grooms really do have "cold feet"!

Other people have ongoing medical conditions, such as diabetes, that cause sluggish circulation. In addition, for most of us, a cut or blister is an annoying but relatively minor foot problem. For a diabetic, these "little" wounds can have serious consequences. Diabetics' feet are at two general disadvantages that can lead to specific, serious foot problems.

In addition to reduced circulation, a loss of feeling in the foot, called neuropathy, can prevent diabetics from feeling the small aches and pains that normally signal to us that we've been cut or bruised. As a result, minor problems can go unnoticed and untreated, and infection may develop.

One of the best ways to avoid trouble with your feet is to exercise preventive care. Continue to the next page to learn some simple exercises and stretches that can re-energize your feet anytime during the day.

In the world of beauty, there are endless tips and rules to keep you looking fabulous. In the list below Beauty High breaks down all those tips to make the industry less scaryfrom makeup artists, hairstylists, skincare gurus and of course, our beauty staff. Remember, beauty should always be fun!

101. “Always keep your summer makeup minimal. Minimal and sheer makeup is the way to go when it’s hot and muggy outside.” – Mary Greenwell, celebrity makeup artist

90. Brush out your curls with your fingers to give your hair a more tousled look.

89. To make your manicure last, apply a thin layer of clear every two days.

88. Wear white eyeliner to make eyes appear less red.

87. “Take a shimmery gloss to the center of your lips, top and bottom – this will attract light to your lips, making them look pouty.”-Katrina Barrion, makeup artist for Giella Custom Blend Cosmetics

86. For slicked back hair, use a serum.

85. For the perfect cat-eye, “select a thin liner brush that is tapered to the point”- Pamela Taylor, makeup artist

84. To make your cheek bones appear higher, use bronzer under the cheekbone and highlighter on the actual cheekbone.

83. Before you blow dry, start with a volumizing spray or light gel to give the roots some lift.

82. For fuller lips, extend the lip line using a flesh tone lip liner. Be careful not to go overboard!

81. The #1 reason for flaky mascara is that the formula is too dry or old. Make sure to close mascara after use to help keep its moisture.

80. To fake clear skin when you notice a pimple, “Apply tea tree oil as soon as you spot it”- Stephanie Flor, makeup artist

79. During summer, “Its easy to forget that feet can get sunburned. Be sure to apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 50 when barefoot”- Dr. Leslie Campbell, DPM

26. Try out the funky hair color trends without dying your hair. Instead, dust bright blush in your ponytail for the same effect. (Refinery29)

How to make your har grow faster♥

One month ago - 1,100 views
How to make your har grow faster♥
I have a beauty question: how do I make my hair grow faster than the usual growth?
We’ve all experienced it: we decide on a whim to get a shorter, sleeker haircut. Then after a week of “feeling out” this new hairstyle, we realize we want our old hair back.

We immediately regret trying out this short ’do and count the days until our hair grows back into its old length. For sure this will take a while (a couple of years for some), so in the meantime we desperately search for ways to speed up our hair growth.

Sadly, there is no fast or easy way to do it but to let it grow out. Hair has a growth cycle that almost never changes: in most cases, its only 0.5 to 1 centimeters per month. And yes, we’ve heard many claims that promise to add length to your mane, and while some may appear to work, others are simply myths.

Hair myths

Let’s revisit some of the most popular “tried-and-tested” beauty advice:

Cutting your hair will make it grow back faster. This is definitely not true, but it makes sense if you think about it. Going for regular trims still has its advantages as it prevents dryness and split-ends. Remember, the tips of our hair are the oldest part of the hair shaft, so getting regular trims are necessary for hair to feel lighter and look healthier.

Getting scalp massages stimulate hair growth. There is some truth to this, as blood circulation indeed helps hair grow. But we can’t really expect substantial improvement; this can only help hair grow by 10 percent, which isn’t much. But I’m sure most of us are willing to take it.

Getting regular hair spas will do the trick, or you may do it at home while you shampoo and condition your hair.

Taking hair vitamins will speed up hair’s growth. We’ve seen these hair vitamins in health food stores. A lot of its users seem to be happy with the results, but again, there is really no significant change in hair growth.

What these vitamins actually do is to help increase hair strength, which also makes sense because the stronger your hair, the less prone it is to breakage, and it gets longer quicker. If you do decide to give this a try, look for vitamins that contain vitamin B and antioxidants. These really give hair the right dose it needs.
